The JOIN Toolkit is for people who want LGBTQIA+ spaces to be more welcoming, inclusive and supportive of everyone in our community – to offer us meaningful opportunities to get involved, learn new skills, share ideas and grow new networks, projects and communities of our own.
It is co-created by people facing homelessness and/or insecure immigration status. It is a resource for YOU.

The Arabic version of our Toolkit was created by JOIN Project contributor and Peer-Researcher Ahed, who explained:
“I believe in accessibility and the importance of having different languages available – even for those who speak English as a second language, as many still understand their own language more deeply. I’ve seen firsthand how language can sometimes be a barrier (and sometimes not!) for Arabic-speaking people. That’s why I truly believed in this translation – it was my way of creating a more welcoming space for us, the queer community”
